Our March Monthly Meal Plan (and FREE Printable)

Yikes, here we are, another month into 2021… Can you believe it?! I’m popping in with our monthly meal plan today (and a free printable if you scroll down to the bottom). I have to be honest, we didn’t really stick to last month’s meal plan BUT we did *mostly* stick to meals I had planned….. Basically we didn’t have the planned meals on the exact days I planned, but it did help to have the ideas listed out ahead of time so we have something to work with.

  • A Fun Announcement (Baby Coming Soon!)

A Fun Announcement (Baby Coming Soon!)

We shared on Instagram but wanted to post here too… We’re expecting another little blessing to join our family this summer, and we are so excited!

This is my third pregnancy to use our Pregnancy Kit with, and it’s just such a fun way to keep track of all the exciting changes, moments and thoughts during a pregnancy. With room to write questions for your doctor, track weekly updates, create a checklist for things do get done before your baby arrives, a place to jot down a birth plan and SO MUCH MORE, this is the prefect addition to any expecting mama’s planner! I shared a video on YouTube a few years ago if you’re interested in seeing how I use this kit!

Have you used our Pregnancy Kit to keep up with the fun milestones during a pregnancy?? Or do you journal through your pregnancy to look back on later? I’d love to know in the comments below!

  • Our February Monthly Meal Plan (and FREE Printable)

Our February Monthly Meal Plan (and FREE Printable)

Hiiiiii friends!! Can you believe it’s already the second month of the year?! It feels like January flew by… Anyone else feel the same? I’m popping in with a quick monthly meal plan today (and free printable if you scroll to the bottom!). We’ve gone back and forth with sticking to our monthly meal plan, but it helps to have the ideas listed out ahead of time so we have something to work with on those nights I just don’t want to cook! Let’s jump in and see what’s on our meal plan for February!

We usually keep breakfast the same from week to week, but I think we’re going to switch things up on Fridays and have pancakes (instead of muffins like we’ve had for a long time!).

    • Monday: Oatmeal
    • Tuesday: Scrambled Eggs (with toast or in burritos)
    • Wednesday: Homemade Granola with Yogurt
    • Thursday: Oatmeal
    • Friday: Pancakes
    • Saturday: Cereal
    • Sunday: Smoothies and Granola

Lunches are also pretty routine… We usually have leftovers, sandwiches, quesadillas or snack lunches (crackers, cheese, fresh fruit and veggies, popcorn, whatever we can pull together quick).

And here’s what we’re planning for dinner this month:

    1. Corn Flake Chicken
    2. Tacos
    3. Roast, Potatoes & Carrots
    4. Chicken Pot Pie
    5. Homemade Pizza
    6. Leftovers / Clean out the Fridge
    7. Beef & Vegetable Soup
    8. Easy Chicken Parmesan
    9. Taco Salad
    10. Beans & Cornbread
    11. Pulled Pork Sandwiches
    12. Homemade Pizza
    13. Leftovers / Clean out the Fridge
    14. Chicken Enchilada Soup
    15. Spaghetti
    16. Crunchwrap Supremes
    17. Slow Cooker Carnitas
    18. Cheesy Ham & Hash Brown Casserole
    19. Homemade Pizza
    20. Leftovers / Clean out the Fridge
    21. Crockpot Chili
    22. Baked Tilapia (Chicken Nuggets for the Kids!)
    23. Taco Style Stuffed Shells
    24. Beans & Cornbread
    25. BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
    26. Homemade Pizza
    27. Leftovers / Clean out the Fridge
    28. Slow Cooker Beef Stew

We’ve had the same rhythm in some areas for months, but I’m going to try a few new things to simplify the meal plan a bit more this month and see how it works out….

    • I tried to simplify the meal plan a bit by having a Mexican themed meal on Tuesdays.
    • I planned alternating meals on Wednesdays (using the crockpot is an extra win!).
    • I moved pizza night to Fridays (we’ve been having a family movie night for a couple of months and pizza is just a good idea with a movie!).
    • I’m going to actually plan to eat leftovers on Saturday nights in order to clean out the fridge before a new week begins.
    • ANDDDDD I’m actually planning to serve the kids something different when we eat fish… We’ve pretty much never done this, but they just really can’t get behind seafood right now and they still need to eat. If we catch some fish locally this summer, they’d totally be on board with fried fish for dinner!

While we’ve planned meals for the entire month, know that we are a normal family that changes things around as needed. If we have leftovers or takeout, we’ll save the planned meal for a different night! Here’s our FREE meal planning printable if you want to plan meals for the whole month too, or use our meal planning inserts to keep your meal plan handy when you’re on the go!
